Trump first entered politics in June 2015 when he descended an escalator at his Trump Tower in New York City and announced he was entering the 2016 presidential race. Trump's presidency altered the very fabric of the Republican Party, bucking some traditional conservative values and ushering in the MAGA — Make America Great Again — era.Donald Trump's legal troubles stretch back to the very beginning of his business career. In 1973, the US Justice Department sued Fred and Donald Trump for allegedly violating the Fair Housing Act in various New York City apartment buildings.Trump used money from two of his PACs to pay his legal fees, but his decisive victory at the polls could mean that the cases will wind down. On May 30, 2024, Trump was convicted of 34 felony counts of falsifying business records related to hush-money payments made to Stormy Daniels, a porn star who alleges she had an affair with Trump.A Trump presidency could spell delays for his state cases in Georgia and New York, legal experts told Business Insider. In addition to the criminal trials, a jury found Trump guilty of sexual abuse in a civil case brought by E. Jean Carroll. The saga, which has extended over two suits, relates to Carroll's allegation that Trump raped her in a Manhattan department store and subsequently made defamatory statements. Together, they resulted in a verdict granting Carroll damages of $88.3 million.

The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card currently comes with a 0% intro APR on purchases for the first 12 months (then a 17.99% - 25.99% Variable APR) and the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card comes with the same intro APR offer and a 17.99% - 23.99% Variable APR after. If you have a card that earns transferable Ultimate Rewards points, you can get even more value from your spending by moving your points from the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card or Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card to one of these cards. In return, new cardholders earn generous rewards, and the Ink cards have some of the very best offers. The welcome bonuses for these cards are similar. For the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card, the welcome bonus is $350 when you spend $3,000 on purchases in the first three months and an additional $400 when you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first six months after account opening while the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card has a bonus of $750 bonus cash back after you spend $6,000 on purchases in the first three months from account opening. The Ink Business Cash® Credit Card is likely better for business owners or managers with small physical offices that require supplies, internet, and cable purchases, with some dining and gas expenses for things like sales calls. However, for digital nomads, freelancers, and those whose work expenses are smaller and more varied — perhaps including categories like travel, subscriptions, or even membership at shared workspaces — the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card's 1.5%-back earning structure might make more sense. If you value simplicity, you can't go wrong with the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card. This card earns 1.5% back on all purchases, which means you won't need to think twice about it (except on international transactions, which come with a 3% foreign transaction fee).
How consumer demand for virtual reality will force businesses to change the ways they manage and operate. For all the justifiable hype about the exploding consumer market for VR and, to a lesser extent, AR, there’s surprisingly little discussion of their latent business value—and that’s a blind spot that companies and CIOs can’t afford to have.It hasn’t been that long since consumer demand for the iPhone and iPad forced companies, grumbling all the way, into finding business cases for them. If digitally enhanced reality generates even half as much consumer enthusiasm as smartphones and tablets, you can expect to see a new wave of consumerization of IT as employees who have embraced VR and AR at home insist on bringing it to the workplace. This wave of consumerization could have an even greater impact than the last one. Rather than risk being blindsided for a second time, organizations would be well advised to take a proactive approach and be ready with potential business uses for VR and AR technologies by the time they invade the enterprise. There’s no guarantee that early market entrants like Facebook’s Oculus Rift, Samsung’s Gear VR, and HTC’s Vive will continue to exist, never mind set enduring benchmarks. Nonetheless, it’s already clear that these technologies will have a major impact on both internal and customer-facing business.
